National Institute of Industrial engineering (NITIE) was established by the Government of India in 1963 with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the International Labor Organization (ILO). NITIE has been consistently ranked among the top B-schools in India: A vindication of our dedication and effort to produce the Business Leaders of tomorrow. Ranked 12th in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings for Management Institutes across India, NITIE is committed to creating skilled professionals to gauge the country's growing engineering and management needs.

Located in the Financial Capital of our country, we are close to the leading corporate houses in the country, giving us the added advantage of integrating classroom knowledge with practical experience.NITIE is gifted by mother nature; surrounded on three sides by lakes and the lush greenery at our campus has earned it the moniker "God's Own Campus."
With 60 Academicians and around 1200 students across various programs, NITIE is a hub for Technical Innovation and Operational Excellence. With the rigorous curriculum and contemporary program structure, the students of NITIE are primed to act as the levers of change in the Industry.
NITIE offers two major Programmes– a research-based Fellow and a Post Graduate Diploma. NITIE offers Post Graduate Diplomas in Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering, Sustainability Management. NITIE also provides a Post Graduate Diploma to leaders currently working in the Industry via the Visionary Leaders for Manufacturing Programme. We have recently launched the General Management Programme (GMP) for Defense Officers as well. All the courses offered at NITIE are Full-Time residential courses with immersive academic and industry interaction.
Our students are in constant touch with the Titans of Industry and Leading researchers, especially in Supply Chain and Operations. At NITIE, we host eminent faculties from international institutes like the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to take courses for students and working professionals across industries. We have recently added The Centre of Excellence in Logistics and Supply Chain Management to our list of stellar achievements. The center aims to conduct cutting-edge research, knowledge creation, and capacity-building programs to develop India's logistics sector through applied research and industry outreach to tackle real-time business scenarios.
