The Rotaract Club

Constituted in the year 2000, under the aegis of the Rotary Club of Bombay, Powai, the Rotaract Club of Powai, NITIE has been involved in various activities aiming for the betterment of communities within and around the campus. Completely managed by the students of NITIE with ample support and mentoring by the faculty members, it has been very active and members meet once every week to discuss new projects and their implementation strategy.

Social Responsibility

Projects generally pertain to community services and their span vary from making a first-aid kit available at the hostel counter to holding a Free medical camp for the residents of neighboring villages.

Some of our regular activities include Blood donation Camps, Eye pledging Camps, Health Camps, Donation of school uniforms for the students of nearby government schools, Arranging Talks on varied subjects ranging from Corporate Responsibility to Stress Management by Yoga and conducting Competitions like Antakshari, Poem recitation etc. for the students, staff and other residents of NITIE.
