About the N Cse
NITIE Center for Student Enterprises ( N Cse) is promoted by Dept. of Science and Technology GOI . Purpose in promoting this center is to develop entrepreneurship among the students of Higher Learning Institutions in the country like NITIE and IIMs who are more suitable to take up the challenge of Entrepreneurship. The specialty of the Center is that it adopted the Gandhian philosophy of medium of instruction should be ‘Practice’ ‘Learning by Doing’. End result of learning process at the center is to create – People with Courage, Conviction, Comprehensiveness, Commitment to assume the business responsibility independently.

Teaching
• Offering Elective courses on Entrepreneurship
Training
• Conducting Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps for various student groups
• Training the students for launching and working towards creation of Knowledge intensive, High Tech, Growth Oriented, Low Investment and No investment business firms
• Conducting Faculty Training for Entrepreneurship Pedagogies
Research
• Identifying the possible areas for Student Entrepreneurship
• Conducting Entrepreneurship research in Indian context
• Disseminating research findings through working papers, seminars, and research conferences
Mentoring
• Providing the guidance to students on becoming entrepreneurs
• Acting like a platform where in Mentors and Mentees
Networking
• Networking with various agencies viz., Industry bodies, Financial institutions, Venture Capitalists, Government agencies in promoting entrepreneurship among the students
