Safety involves coordinating policies and operations with industry standards and practices as well as with government regulations. The key to reducing hazard and risk is an effective safety management program. In turn, the cornerstone of a successful safety management program is management commitment, good ERDMP planning, BBS and employee involvement forming a team that more and more often includes the facility manager as an integral player. The process safety risk assessment, BBS and DMP are powerful approaches used to help manage risk and improve safety in many process industries. When properly performed, the approach provides a rational basis for evaluating process safety and improvement.

The overall objective is to help participants to understand process risk, risk assessment approaches, BBS and Develop Disaster Management Plan. The program will help professionals working in the area of safety, health and environment regarding issues associated with the safety in process industries. The Specific objectives are: ?
